Band Spokesman, Mike Hammel posted on facebook that Scotty’s Saloon in Richmond, Texas wrote the Band a (Hot Check) for their performance at this establishment and will not make it right. For all of us who've seen Def Legged live know these guys are one of the Premiere Tribute Bands Based in the Great State of Texas, always putting on a Hell of a Show wherever they perform, always giving the Club-owners and their many fans their moneys worth, and more. These guys work their Asses off to put on the best show possible every performance, I personally know hundreds of people who've seen these guys live and not one has ever had a bad word one to say about this Band. As hard it is for any band today to get out on the road and tour with expenses being what they are, the one thing Bands don't need is Club Owners trying to take advantage of their services provided and Rob them of out of their pay. Theft of services in nothing new in the industry, since the beginning of the entertainment industry there has been crooked promoters, bookers, performance halls, club and venue owners of all sizes over the years that have Swindled Performers out of the pay that was due them. What we all can do as fans of all these Bands no matter what genre of music they perform for our entertainment, is when we hear of anyone out there trying to swindle these performers, we support them anyway we can by getting the word out in the public domain to prevent any other harm from being done.
